Each morning, Eight will give you a Sleep Score for your last night of sleep, graded out of 100. It provides at-a-glance feedback, which makes it easy to compare your sleep performance over time.
The Sleep Score measures overall sleep performance by calculating several sleep data points with the following algorithm:
Eight Sleep Score = Time slept x Toss & Turns
Time slept: This is the actual amount of hours and minutes you slept during the night.
Toss & Turns: This is the number of times you moved in bed during the night. Each toss & turn is a significant movement, lasting 5 seconds or more.
The color indicates the level of your Sleep Score:
Red = An OK night’s sleep that needs some work
- Score range: 50 – 66
