If your Eight gets disconnected, you will need to re-connect to your home Wi-Fi network. To do so, you will have to put Eight into pairing mode.
Go to the menu, and under My eight, select Put Eight into pairing mode.
You will have to click out of the Eight app and go to your phone’s Settings, and select Wi-Fi. Follow the on-screen instructions to connect to your home Wi-Fi.
- There, you are looking for Eight-XXXX (which represents a unique 4 digit number).
- Select Eight-XXXX, and return to the app.
- Enter your Wi-Fi network name and password, and tap connect.
Please note that Eight doesn’t connect to 5G networks. During the pairing process, the hub light will blink different colors as it connects.
If your network name is not appearing, tap ‘Search again’.
If it’s still not appearing, select ‘Other’. Enter your Wi-Fi network name and password, and tap ‘Connect’.
